Sept 14th - 16th - The Band travelled to and participated in the Shanghai Tourism Festival in Shanghai China - China Trip

March 28th - The Band as a group was presented the Commander's Unit Commendation - first time a civilian unit has been given this award. Award Gallery

March 28th - P/Sgt Gilbert Young and Jack Yourt received Commanding Officer Commendations.

March 28th - P/M Graeme Ogilvie received the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers.

April 7th - CEILIDH AT CARTIER SQUARE - 20th Anniversary celebration of our Tartan




January 1st - Pipe Major Douglas MacLeod takes over from Pipe Major Graeme Ogilvie.

December 6th - Pipe Major Graeme Ogilvie returns to the Pipe Major position.




March 8th - A New Mace is presented to the Band. The Old Mace (1932) was retired.

September 6-12 - Band travelled to Longs Peak Scottish/Irish Highland Festival, Estes Park, Colorado, USA

December 1-5 - Four band members traveled to Hong Kong, China to participate in ceremonies commemorating the 75th anniversary of the battle of Hong Kong. (Band Trip)




May 1st thru 10th - 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherland Composite Band Trip (Holland)

July 5th - RCMP stand sentry at the National War Memorial in Ottawa (News Story)
